* With heavy hearts, we've laid Peppar to rest near Tassy, in the shade of a lovely tree. Black rough Athos (France), fawn smooth Lulu and rough cream Mulan join our family.
... from the Show Ring:
* Depending on circumstances, we may personally attend a few shows this year. Some of our chow chows in other homes will also attend a few shows.

* South Africa: We personally attend only one show where Athos gains Dog CC & Puppy Group 4th!

grand-chow, Gen (Ch Ciao Le Paladin x Ch Ciao Alpha Mia of Mishna), gains her first CC (Mrs M Jones - Canada). Blue

* Internationally: Gus & Cindy attend only 7 shows in France where Gus is awarded Multi CACs, Res CACIB, CACIB & BOB (BOB under Specialist judge Mme Meyer - Sama Khada, Fra) and BJISS (Speciality Show - judge Mr G Bodegard - Swe)

* Handsome blue smooth Baloo sires a blue rough son at Bluemountain Chow Chows in Cape Town. Peter & Marie register Fa-Ci Chow Chows! Bryan & Janine Habana join our Ciao Chows extended family as proud parents of fawn smooth Velvet. Vanessa and the Mishna pack arranged a picnic in Cape Town at Zomerlust Guesthouse (thanks Annelize!!!)
